January 2024 - Resilience Within

What is it about a new year that sparks that feeling of a fresh new start, new beginnings, and opportunities to gain fresh perspectives? The five of us were discussing altogether as a community this afternoon about how each day, we wake up new. We registered this reality deeply, and are intentioning and looking for all the ways we are new every morning … even in small ways, which can hold such immensity.

From Clarity’s Dream Time Oracle Book

Suzanne and I feel something new getting ready to sprout within us. Is it more resilience, hope, confidence, courage, gratefulness, abundance or perseverance? More self-love, self-care and compassion for ourselves and others? Increasing the time and energy spent on our passions, our creative expressions and our purpose together vs life’s distractions?

We activate and intention all the ways we can care for and tend to this new sprouting…giving it water and watering the roots, making sure there is sunshine, and let it know that we believe in it’s potential to grow. We may not understand what it is yet that is sprouting within, but we can feel it and know that it is in motion and we have asked for it from the Divine. We will safe guard it as it incubates and gestates, with an open heart, compassion, and enthusiasm - all as a part of an alchemical process, the art of transformation.

Depicted below is a creative collage from Clarity’s most recent flipbook “Alchemy is All About Transformation” which captures the essence of hawthorne so beautifully and is one of many magical Tincture Fairies they have created. We use the hawthorne tincture daily to help nurture and support our hearts in a multitude of ways.

We love this collage by Clarity, including words from their Kuan Yin Oracle of Compassion, and how they described “feeling the lift of what you have become” - and that connects with looking for what is new, what have we become each day, and feeling the levity of what has emerged in our lives. Recapping what has emerged at the end of the day as well.

As we step into this new year, we call on Hawthorn for nurturing our hearts and the brightness of Daisy and intention the activation of that very same unstoppable desire, strength, courage, resilience, and perseverance within ourselves.

Another resilient flower, found on one of our walks together around the block, who shows us how it can be done.
