A Stitch in Time........A blooming Garden

We have a blooming garden in our cellar this year! We moved most of our potted plants indoors back in October and arranged a nursery for them to rest for the Winter. Even now some of the geraniums are blooming under amazing, colorful grow lites. It brings a cozy atmosphere to a normally dry, dark place, but not this year. We have comfortable humidity and fragrance of earth and leaves. It has been a place for me to continue the adventures of our Garden Plan, as I tend them daily, meeting their needs, and loving being able to touch them and greet them with admiration. It has given much joy and awareness of their needs in the dark months of hibernation. They even have our goldfish to keep them company, so our cellar has become a place we all can enjoy and continue in the growth of nature. I have noticed that I have not felt deprived of the outdoors being in their company, so it has made my Winter amazing!! Here is a look at their home now, and another view by Clarity Artists of their Spring future.
